I feel like this song would be a pretty good intro song if my life was a movie. Its a good start for this mess that will unfold. Let's start my life when I'm around middle school, so like 11-13 year old me. We're starting here because this is when life starts becoming a mess. The upbeat feel and sad lyrics kinda match the mood I would like to set if I was making my life a movie (this is the case for most of the songs in this soundtrack)

Middle school is an edgy, angsty, and just a weird stage in everyone's life. So what other song but an edgy, an angsty song by My Chemical Romance. Middle school for me was bad….I've blocked most of it out. It's just an era that I would really not like to re-live.
But you really need to listen to me because I'm telling you the truth I mean this, I'm okay! (Trust me)
Hard Times by Paramore-- high school years
High school was definitely better than middle school, but I still had some bad moments. I had my hard times….heehee. Anyways yes high school sucks, middle school sucks but we all pretended it was fine (sounds upbeat, lyrics are not upbeat)

The Sound of Reverie----Summer before college/graduation
During this summer everyone was very sad and nostalgic, and I feel like this song can really set that mood. We were all moving on and growing up, and starting our lives far from our home which was kind of sad. We grow old and move on with our lives, and that's fine.
It may be bittersweet 'cause we're no longer seventeen, but we're still young so dance with me in naivety
Losing Myself by State Champs----moving out
Moving out and coming to Canada was probably the scariest and most exciting thing ever. I can see this song playing along while I unpacked and moved into my apartment. When I moved out I was scared of doing shit on my own and being on my own for the first time, but it ended up turning out to be the best thing that ever happened.
I'm defenceless and I could use some time on my own and a place to stay I'm losing myself in the best way
