Ever since I can remember I don’t believe my answer for “what do you want to be when you grow up has changed since I was in like 4th grade”. It has been music for that long
I never really had high expectations, and to this day I still don’t. But for the longest time, I wanted to own my very own music shop/guitar shop. My classmates thought that was ridiculous, I would still be very happy if that ends up being what happens in my future. I never aimed for a super “money-driven” job (*cough* I choose music as a career so it should be obvious *cough*) but as I grew up I started figuring stuff out. For a good while, I wanted to build guitars and that’s what I wanted to learn, but it didn’t click with me. Then I learned about production and recording and what really happens behind a studio. I started to fall in love with recording and sound so I figured that's what I wanted to do, career wise
It was weird listening to all my high school classmates go to college for business, or even to become doctors or lawyers, while I decided to pursue Sound and Audio Production. But I guess that's how it is sometimes
